3 Bee Ranch The ranch is enhanced by scenic beauty and has endless recreation opportunities as well as being located on the summer and winter wildlife ranges for antelope, deer and elk. It has been known to receive a lion or bear as guests in the past. The owner tells stories of having the resident deer come near while he quietly made it known that all are welcome here. One elderly antelope gentleman actually greets the owners when they are coming to or leaving from the property. There are always elk, deer, and antelope visible in the early morning or late evening either in the lower meadow or can be found gossiping at the salt lick. A tributary of Colorado Creek flows through the length of the property located in the lower meadow area, and has been known to produce a good fight between a fly rod and a Brown Trout, and perhaps a Brookie or two. Although the owner does not regularly hunt now, he has harvested trophy elk, and deer from the property, which is located on the backside of Mexican Ridge, and within a mile of the Routt National Forest boundary. Excellent fishing may also be found in the pristine waters of Seymore Reservoir, Teal and Tiago Lakes, and the well-known fisheries of Delaney Buttes and Lake John. Like to ski; Steamboat Springs is located approximately 40 miles from the property, or can be reached via the rustic road over Buffalo Pass for summer 4 wheeling, or winter snow machining. Electricity, satellite TV, and even cell service, although limited, is available. This a truly "A Nice Place To Hang Your Hat!"
